Course Contract

List 2-3 specific goals you have for this course:
1 - Learn to prepare to become a teacher: Every class that I take in the Education Program is mean to help me to become a better teacher, but I look forward to every class specifically because each class is geared towards teaching me something specific.
2 - Learn the inner workings of why students learn the ways they do, psychologically speaking: Seeing how this is an Educational Psychology class, I hope to be able to learn the different ways in which students learn and how can I better adapt my teaching.
3 - Learn how to create assessments that will meet the needs of the students that I will be teaching. In the first day of class we were told that we would be working on assessments so I look forward to being able to create an assessment that the students will be able to not only see where they are but learn about areas where they need more work.

Describe your weekly preparation plan. Be specific. What will you do each day of the wee to prepare for this course?
I plan my month in advance. So on the first day of the month I sit down with a dry-erase calender and my course schedules and map out when things need are do and I write that in red ad the I write other things that I am doing in different colors based on priority. I then plan on dividing the left over time between this class and my other class. Since I do not work I should have ample time to devote to the class.

Outline the study strategies that you will use to understand the material.
I plan to make sure that I get enough sleep and that I have had eaten to make sure I am prepared to study so that I will be able to retain the information that I will be studying.

Explain the process you will follow if you do not understand a topic.
If I do not completely understand something I first plan to research the topic in my textbook. Then I plan to consult with some of the other students in the class. If I still do not understand something I plan to consult with the teacher to fins the answer to my questions.
